H. C.’s Waiting Room tells the story of Hans Christian Andersen, returning home from one of his many travels. In his suitcase is a mermaid – the main character for his next fairy tale.

“The Ugly Duckling” is a puppet performance inspired by dance, and accompanied by new interpretations of classical music. A yarn spun from Hans Christian Andersen’s much loved fairy tale.

In front of the audience, bits and pieces of tales and objects, light, dance and music merge into a new creation.
